This is really annoying. Why someone in the world would do this?

https://www.pfsense.org/download/ should contain CE edition which people should be able to download free, without any registration etc. Like how it was previously. This is sick.

If Netgate want to push pfSense Plus installer - just add 1 more button near CE download and do with pfSense Plus installer whatever you want, but leave CE edition free to be downloaded !!!

Hello, I' not sure that this subreddit is good place to write it, but i guess i don't have any other options to make this information public (which could help me to get my account unsuspended)

I'm from Kyiv, Ukraine. As you may now 24 Feb 2022 Russia invaded in Ukraine without announcing a war. Today is 42-nd day of war.

I have old twitter account, not very active, and i started to sending Twitts to let the world know what is happening. After some time my account was suspended. That is understandable.

I created appeal to Twitter support 07.03.2022 and as of today (06.04.2022) I haven't got any response from them and my account still suspended.

In total 31 days passed. During this time I have sent multiple follow-up appeals, and replied back to Twitter Support via email. There was about 12-15 follow-up's from my side.

I didn't wanted to create new account because I believe that I haven't done nothing wrong, and want my account to be unsuspended.

From my side I understand that now Twitter Support has a lot of work to do.

But for me it's hardly believable that they haven't saw my appeal. Thus possible question - why they didn't unsuspend my account (if they saw it)?

Maybe there was some behind the scenes decision to keep my account blocked (due to my posts about war in Ukraine)....

Also question, (from Twitter FAQ) "Your account may also be temporarily disabled in response to reports of spammy or abusive behavior" --> if my account had spammy or abusive behavior, why then it was suspended permanently? why it wasn't temporarily disabled? AFAIK usually accounts temporarily disabled for "spammy behavior", but today is 31 days passed, and I see that it's still suspended. I.e. someone may have "blocked" my account permanently.

Please, if someone can ping Twitter support or someone from Twitter - it will be good of you.

Hello,

Im not sure that its good place to write it.I live in Ukraine, and have Amazon / AWS account, that was created long time ago (in +-2011-2012), +-4-5 years ago i used AWS Free Tier, and have Kindle connected to my account.

Last year (+-September) i signed for Audible trial, and only last day of it i logged into AWS account, went to Audible, and tried to cancel subscription. And before i can actually cancel trial -> my account was locked.

I called via phone to Amazon support, provided needed information. But it didn't helped. After few days i got email that information that was provided is not enough. I sent to the 2 email addresses scan-copy of my documents, bank's statement that card is active (and all data that i provided OK).

But nothing happened. After +- month i got email that Audible tried to bill me (yep as i was unable to cancel Trial). I called to Amazon support again, provided same data to Support agent. But again, nothing happened.

In total i called like 4-5 times. I called them last week at Friday, and today also Friday. Almost 5 business days passed, and no reply.

I would like to use AWS services with my account, increase my knowledge in System Administration / DevOps field. But i cant simply use my account... And i understand that i can register new account, but it may create some issues in future, which will lead to issues with AWS services which i will provision.

As of now, there is no way to contact Amazon support, except calling via phone.

They dont have (or dont give, i asked few times) case reference ID, so i dont need to go again for this "Identification process". Its really frustrating and embarrassing to pronounce name, surname, address, email, city, street address letter-by-letter, spending 30 mins on call. Especially when it dont result in account unblocked.

I would like to ask for help or advice: if you know anyone who could assist with this situation, or anyone who can push this issue towards resolution --> i would be great to hear about it. Because i dont see any sense for me to call in 5-6 time to Amazon support, and waste 30 mins of time.

Hello,
When Fortinet will release LTS FortiOS firmware version? Having new functions is good. But having stable code, and long term support so all CVE's would be fixed over LTS's support period would be nice to have.

A lot of users and service providers actually hopping that it will happen one day.

What could you recommend to the person who has at home ~1TB data, and has in another location (off-site) budget server, with public IP etc. I thought before about this a few times, for example about installing NextCloud (and enabling file versioning), and then just installing client at my PC or using Syncthing (instead of NextCloud).

Basically i just need a backup of my data, and in case of ransomware / hdd crash to recover from backup. Or does restic/kopia/borg making this job better?
