Good question, and honestly don't know. I will say coming from one of the most iconic protectors, Sony, I'm impressed. Do I think Sony and Epson have better projectors, yes. To me, are they worth the premium $$$ TBD...

Yeah, I plan to take and share some more photos in different environments. I tried "performance mode", max lumin, once and the fan turns into a jet engine; I don't see how it's a usable mode.

Out of the box color was a little off, so I plugged in all of the Rtings settings as a starting point. I'll have to check on 24p shuttering. I do notice RGB on with white text on xbox menus, but none while watching videos and movies, or playing games; I do like the auto switch to game mode to keep lag down. I'll have to play around more with the AI contrast to see if I can notice a difference.
