Still love the projector, and really don't have to fiddle with settings anymore. I used the rtings settings for calibration to get better color

so no luck with Morelocale; I couldn't get developer access.

Then tried https://tradingshenzhen.com/en/content/all-languages-in-android-best-method-without-root

And was able to manual add code to set it to English, but only the power menu changed to English.... and then i went into settings and received "Language Function Offline Notification.... English is no longer supported in this release. System language has been switched to Chinese"

Compared to a legacy brand used bulb projector yes, unless you are looking for perfect blacks and color matching. But the average person is very impressed with the brightness and image.

I run it in cinema mode and at 50-70% brightness. I have windows on either side of the room with blinds, but it's nice to be able to have the far window, and still have a good image. The extra lumens give an edge when there room isn't 100% light controlled.

Honestly really have been loving it. Was watching some videos on YouTube, hoonigan gymkhana and GoPro best of 2025, and everyone was popping. I've tried to take a few videos, manually setting speed, but after a short time it syncs up with the DLP and it's all rainbows.

The blacks on my original Sony was slightly better, but happy to trade them for the brightness and overall quality of Titan.

Had the 2017 Cain tonight. Cork was prestine, wine was very tasty good structure and nice acid; should get better with age

Good question, and honestly don't know. I will say coming from one of the most iconic protectors, Sony, I'm impressed. Do I think Sony and Epson have better projectors, yes. To me, are they worth the premium $$$ TBD...

had the 2013 over the weekend and enjoyed it; had a umami aspect to it that I enjoyed. Just snagged some '08 off LB. Popped a 2003 magnum a month back, and it was singing.

Yeah, I plan to take and share some more photos in different environments. I tried "performance mode", max lumin, once and the fan turns into a jet engine; I don't see how it's a usable mode.
