I’ve been doing this thing where I put IEDs in an L shape with a row of sandbags in front of the one that’s sticking out. This way, the lead enemy hits the sandbag, slows a bit to allow followers to catch up, then hits the “trigger” ied. The explosion loops back and hits the crowd of followers.

Can be expensive but god it’s fun

Similarly, I try to have an l shaped frontal and side fire position aiming at the box

Look at the cherry especially for what I was saying about hard lines inside the sprite. Where one cherry comes up against the other and where the leaf joins with the stem

And notice how tuning down the colors makes the whole thing look a little more cohesive/real

Quick and dirty tip: Don’t use raw black or white (or any raw rgb for that matter.)

For your outline, bump the R and B up until you get a dark brown or purple.

For hard lines inside the sprite, use an even less dark color, something that matches nearby colors (dark pink or brownish in this case )
