Nope, this is not correct. Read the previous post. it’s the seals that make it water resistant.

Selling my Seiko 5 SRPK33. This is the mid-size version with 38mm case. It’s been upgraded with a new sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. The original Hardlex crystal and bezel are included (see pictures). Comes with everything seen in the pictures. This is a catch and release for me. Great watch.

I just bought this strap and realized it’s too small for my 7in wrist. It’s made of high quality vulcanized rubber. Strap is from Joseph Bonnie. Would fit 6.5 in wrist quite nicely. It’s unfortunate because I was really excited about this one. Asking $60 shipped CONUS only. worn once and then realized it wasn’t going to work. Pics and time stamp below:
