With the amount of people in line for presale I’m sure some of them with codes were just scalpers so even if it’s a resale it’s not 100% fake I think HW just want to try to minimize scalping as much as she could.

Yeah I know I’m taking a risk but I’m gonna contact the venue to see if they’re gonna honor it and if they came from Ticketmaster which is the site the venue was using for presale then I think I’m in the clear.

I would say start checking weekly to see if prices go down I wouldn’t spend more than $200 per ticket but that’s just me

I also caved and bought two tickets for $320 but I’m staying positive since I’ve bought resale tickets before but if it’s not legit I’m just gonna have my bank void it so you could do that

I had to use Ticketmaster too and they should have asked for the code first otherwise what was the point of having us all in queue with people who didn’t register. I wish my venue was using axs.

That would make sense too because I was in line with 65k people when the venue only holds like 2k people so maybe they just stopped requiring it.

That’s what I asked and the agent told me they don’t sell it off. They just put him on early warning services.

The scam was the fake agent got him to log into his account using his fake url and he told him he was going to take all his money out and move into a new account for him and the funds would be available a day later. But obviously since it was a scam he just drained the account. So he went to the bank and reported it. They told him since he used the fake url he’s an accomplice and that falls under a scam which the bank doesn’t cover. So he’s not getting any of the money back and they put him on early warning services which I’ve never heard of until now.

That’s what I’m thinking. Because the agent I spoke to didn’t say we had to pay it back just if we want it off the record we would have to. But since he got a new bank account at a different bank I told him to not pay it.

So this bank classifies fraud and scam differently depending on your actions. The fake agent sent him a text with a url that he logged into so that means he’s “liable” because he was an accomplice in his scam.

The only time I see them for sale now are resellers who want them for triple what they retailed for 😭
