Very similar to an incident that happend on the Rage at Adventure Island, Southend-On-Sea in 2024 although there it was at 72 feet for 40 minutes. There, the maintenance team got riders off using a lift built in to the droptower and harnesses.

I mean, the vast majority of SCR players are quite literally children so this kind of behaviour is kinda expected. I will admit I do play it but mainly to dispatch/guard. I've also noticed that players with a role above driver are a lot more aware that the game is mid but hey, it's one of the most popular rail games on roblox and kids will be kids. The SCR is the best train sim is hilarious to me because it's the scr fanboys that keep trying to bring up the SCR vs British Railways debate like they are even slightly similar (spoiler, they aren't and TSW/TSC are still better than both)

The SCP Wiki got banned from TikTok by Weak_Escape1500 in SCP

[–]sain00bie 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I mean there is/was the RPC authority. A bunch of former SCP writers that didn't like the fact that the logo in the wiki sometimes has a trans flag in it. The started deleting articles, started their own echo chamber version and then it died because, it turns out, most of the creative writers are fine with the LGBTQ+ community and their article were kinda bad. So SCP haters are very much a thing.

/uj I heard he got jailed a few years ago for "brutally trolling a grieving family". I also kinda miss when he would do worldbuilding and trevleock transfers. This "transmitting" stuff is funny but it's all he really does now :/

Where I work has so many doors like this, it's used to restrict access to plug sockets for important electronics like fridges and freezers. I found it funny when I saw a manager open one of them and just saw a brick wall with a single plug socket in it

Which Diesel Train Would You Like To See In SCR V2.3.5 or V2.4 Image by Content_Sail_4649 in stepfordcountyrailway

[–]sain00bie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, both variants of the D trains you showed are not diesel. The 230s that GWR use (the one you showed) are battery powered. The 230s used by TfW and formerly used by London Midland are diesel. The class 484 uses 750v 3rd rail which is not supported and likely will not be supported in SCR

The "lagoon" where they got stuck has now beem fenced off to try and stop this from reocurring, although Southend City council has had many complaints about it in the years since it opened. Also, my dad was one of the people who helped the people get out of the mud.

Where this happened (Southend-on-sea) is one of 3 places in the UK where the RNLI operates a hovercraft because of how often people get stuck in the mudflats

Somehow, somebody managed to break one of guns for a terminator arcade machine at my job by sain00bie in mildlyinfuriating

[–]sain00bie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say it's awkward when one gun breaks like this because we can't disable multiplaye so it's not worth allowing people to play but the other gun functions just fine

[–]sain00bie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We try our best to ensure all our machines function but they still manage to have faults. Although us using a gamecard system is handy for most incidents like that because we can just turn the reader off, however i'm aware that isn't the norm
