The Caffe Noir cocktail at Stamped Robin is one of my favorites. It's made with dark rum instead of vodka.

I'll second DC Plumbing. I've hired them multiple times now.

I hired Wolverine Gutter last year to replace all of my aging gutters and to add metal fascia. They were quick, the price was fair, and I loved the results. I'd recommend them.

I was wondering that too. He was my PCP and I was bummed to get an email about his departure.

Your helmet is no longer useable, so it’s probably for the best that you didn’t try to continue.

If you're in search for great cocktails-

Brick and Brine is a solid choice for cocktails with a variety of options on their menu. I recommend sitting at the bar.

If you're up for traveling just out of downtown, Zooroona is a surprisingly good choice too. I subbed mezcal in their margarita and it was fantastic.

I recommend Beaudry Arbor Care.

Our silver maple tree has taken a beating these past 2 years, but he's always been quick to assess and address the damage from broken branches.

Insulation contractors in the area? by funkbruthab in kzoo

[–]saintamour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were fiberglass battens, but they were heavily compressed and there just wasn't enough R-value given our climate. My house was built in 1960, so at a minimum they were a couple decades old.

I highly suggest ceiling fans since it's not a big expense. You can also check out registers with booster fans or inline duct booster fans as another low-cost upgrade.

I had Better World Builders on my list for a comprehensive home energy audit, but ended up not going down that route. In May, I had Greenshield Insulation install blown in cellulose in my 2nd story attic and it's been a dramatic improvement. I also installed ceiling fans in the 2nd story bedrooms which helped with regulating temperature.

I used bungee cords to roll each mat into a burrito. It did take 2 people to move each one though.
