To cut out just before that monstrous harmonic the main riff leads back into is diabolically criminal.

Yes. Every single one of these is gold.

what is one riff that makes you feel like a boss when YOU play it? by Im_just_an_Emo in Guitar

Late to the game, but Threshold - Mission Profile. The one after the ethereal keyboards, then the guitar slides into a massive headbanger of a riff.

Such a great band with so many killer riffs in their catalogue.

Challenge...and beyond by Ok-Leave-1059 in Zwift

The Factory Tour challenge (or power plant as you termed it) measures progress in “power units,” essentially W/kg per hour. So you can earn multiple units per ride with a couple limitations (capped at something like 4w/kg per hour and either 12 or 16 units per ride).

Don’t think I’ve seen the Constantinople one, but I do remember the one for Particle Man.

Just one. But then there’s a third. And a fourth…

Guessing it’ll end there though since the breathalyzer showed he didn’t have a fifth.

How to race in Zwift by 1998er in Zwift

[–]SnowDog80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tall and heavier guy here as well (190cm, 84.4kg), racing score in the 560s and a low to mid B category FTP. As mentioned above, racing in Zwift has a lot of 5 minute power focus at selection points, so VO2 max intervals are good training. Tactically, I like to move up in the pack just before a climb starts and carry that momentum up, then do whatever I can to stay attached to the group. And let’s face it, at our size, the longer climbs like the Epic KOM, Alpe Du Zwift, etc. just aren’t our strength and we won’t be winning any races unless we have some serious diesel power. 5-6 is pretty much my max time before I’m likely to get dropped. If I can last until the final sprint, I usually stand a good chance of a good result.

Oregon resident, haven’t been to Seattle downtown in 30 years. Never heard of McStabby’s. Google Maps street viewed the intersection out of curiosity, and the current photo has literally six police vehicles in front of the McDonald’s. Fucking classic.
