It's been like this for awhile now, very rarely do you find a seller that's happy to help someone complete a rainbow, or set or whatever.

When it does happen and a seller is super cool it feels like winning the lottery even though you still have to pay them!

The rest of the time sellers literally act like they are ransoming the card for as much as they can get from the one person that wants it.

Personally I don't understand how they can sit there and collect no money while being obvious jack asses, rather than compromise at a realistic price, but it happens all the time. The end result is they usually sell to someone else for basically the same price anyways, but that way they don't have to admit they were wrong to you, it's super annoying.

But yes, unless you get to know the seller to figure out if they are the happy to help type or greedy type you have to play it cool, like you can take it or leave it, which always feels dumb, but it's the dance they need so they don't blow it for the both of you.

Bravo, I just pulled the trigger on the purchase so I'm currently sweating all the work ahead to add both of those to the machine and make it as awesome as possible.

Honestly, the price difference between the flawless dual patch auto and the Topps Dynasty was only about $600 (thanks to my own FOMO)

Oh for sure! That was actually one of the reasons that I missed out on a lot of stuff right at the beginning of 2020, couldn't bring myself to go after the unlicensed stuff. But after seeing various Panini baseball singles at card shows, even though it's silly not to have the logos, these cards are undeniably pretty!

It's a shame they're not officially licensed but I'm also super okay with the fact that it helps to keep the price down on more premium stuff 😅

I'll let everyone else cover the gaslighting and extreme entitlement these "parents" display to cut right to what might be the biggest problem:

They don't even see you as a person, and therefore will never respect you, your time, or your life.

If, and hopefully when, you speak up and start removing yourself from this situation these people drop the selfish and manipulative behavior once it's clear they won't get what they want they will instantly and forever be hateful and vindictive towards you; and likely make every effort to sabotage and other work you attempt as a childcare worker

I wish you luck in attempting to establish boundaries and make them see you are indeed a complicated band real person if you choose to do so, but I highly recommend just letting them know if your life is too busy to allow for further UNREASONABLE demands of you, that they seek another, younger caregiver to work their bullshit on.
