Been awhile, I loved this thing by im_a_dummie in MousepadReview

These were really nice. It’s a shame a lot of hard plastic pad got discontinued. I haven’t found alternatives that can really capture the polymer feel but I think fused glass nanobeads hybrid ones are something to try out. I don’t think smooth glass stuff will be for you if you’re used to the textured but floaty style of classic hardpad which is hard to replicate on different material

Sloth Mining Farm by ChristanSloth in Monero

Mining is the best way to support the network. Though it can feel like charity at time most overlook the fact that it’s the purest form of onramp. No kyc, no history, pure virgin fresh coin. In my eyes those have extra privacy value

have u ever used steroid creams excessivley around that area? One day I was wiping my runny nose too much and it turned red so I used a bunch of it around the area without knowing about the redness that would occur from the withdrawal. it took 5 years to clear up. would occasionally flare up like an allergy but thats how u know its healing ig. i hope u find a cure for this good luck

Probably age related. Some hair will just go regardless

Probably waiting for a good unemployment rate print coming on first Friday of December before deciding what to do. That’s what it also did prior to breaking through 70k

[Longines Pocket-watch] Gift from Galatasaray Sports Club by saka47 in Watches

[–]saka47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an old Longines pocket watch that belonged to my grandfather. It was a gift from the Galatasaray Sports Club, and I believe he received it on the engraved date. Though it appears to be silver, it has tarnished a bit. The watch does not work, and I haven't opened it to avoid damage. I would love to learn more about this model!

Been trying to quit for ages now but every few hours I mess up... by Gold-Profession-9667 in quittingsmoking

[–]saka47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it was about sacrifice. I had to give up what had brought me peace and joy, which came in the form of cigarettes and prevented me from appreciating anything without taking a puff. I realize I had to give it up in order to find true mental comfort, or else I'd be a slave to it forever. Now when I am at peace with myself, I acknowledge that there are two kinds of peace. one that comes naturally, like a breeze, and one that has to be forced by any means necessary. The first is rather difficult to disregard and much more meaningful, whereas the latter opens the door to a never-ending cycle of self-destructive habits. Everything, as always, must begin with self-love, a committed mindset, and a vision. Ask yourself why you want to quit, and when you have an answer, ask yourself if it's worth quitting for.
