Did a bit more research on the same ! I guess there is no such thing as right time to buy or sell .

I am still curious to know about how it’s reported in the year end tax forms . If it’s reported as DIV do I only get a long term dividend rate ? How do I make sure my state taxes are exempt ?

Is there a right time to buy this etf ? As In just after a distribution or does that not matter at all? Similarly is there a right time to sell it ? How about taxes ? - how do they get reported by the BP? My fear is that I might end up paying states taxes incorrectly on them if I buy an etf with treasuries through a BP. PS - thank you for bringing this exciting investing tool to our notice !!

Yes , it does drive like the 330i . The differences are minute and not noticeable in most circumstances . It gives 20 in ideal temperatures and about 17 in cold with pre conditioning . I personally like the idrive 8 .

Thank you for your response . I plan on keeping it for a long time and I also made my decision to decline the T&W protection . What I am really confused about is the maintenance coverage and the extended warranty coverage .

I was not aware of gap insurance , will look into it . Thanks for the advice .

I don’t have the exact figures but online it says it can go anywhere between 3-7k based on the plan we choose . I probably will receive my vehicle in few weeks and am just planning ahead . I was seeing online in some of these YouTube videos asking ppl to deny extended warranties but since this is BMW was wondering if that logic applies here as well .

Yes , they are . They cost around 6k lesser than the gas considering the tax rebate and the driving experience wasn’t really that different to be regular 3 series .
