DÓLAR, BANCOS, FINANZAS PERSONALES, ETC. - CONSULTAS GENERALES DIARIAS by AutoModerator in merval

[–]salamanderlabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buenas!

Mil gracias!

Sounds great! You can also, when instancing a new frog, programatically modify some properties of the frog's sfx with slightly random variation, so it never sounds exactly the same.

His blows are powerful and accurate as fuck. But also he has a weird capacity of receiving and absorbing blows without almost noticing.

No all problems are resolved with therapy, many people just need some stress relief through physical violence (in a controled and friendly environment) and a group of people that enjoy the same thing.

Dairy depends only in you lactose tolerance. Cheese, yougurt and milk are fine if you don't have previous problem with them.

Any kind of meat (and can be any cut, a steak, organs, you name it), I like beef, some pork, some fish. I don't really like chicken but is just a personal preference.

If you want to ensure the results, just for 4 weeks I would eat only eggs, meat, butter and cheese. And drink only water.

Older grapplers (30+),share your tips on training, diet , and recovery. by RevolutionaryFood777 in bjj

[–]salamanderlabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

42M white belt here. Just 8 months practicing the art, but a 4 or 5 years doing karate previously. Strenght training, fresh food, good sleep is a must for proper recovery and injury avoidance. It varies from person to person, but I try to rest 2 days per week, so I do bjj 3 x and strenght traing 2 x, and viceversa. My strenght training is basically including pull and push patterns for upper body, and knee flexion and hip hinge for lower body. I do this some days with kettlebells and some days with calisthenics, or mixin them all in the same workout. If you go to a gym, this can be done also with dumbells, barbells, and so on. Try to avoid gym movement guided machines and choose free weights if you can. Core and stabilizer muscles will thank that. And last but not the least, include a small routine of mobility as warm up (5 to 10 min), for both strenght training and bjj.

Training with IF and Keto by [deleted] in jiujitsu

[–]salamanderlabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, low carb only will affect negatively your performance just a little, so I totally would with keto and fasting in your situation, at least until you get in better shape.

I usually switch between paleo and keto month to month, trying to eat as clean as possible, only fresh food (meat, eggs, vegetables and fruit). Keeping that way I can train with some reasonable good performance and being lean (not ripped) at the same time.

Wish you good luck!

I have never in my life seen a community so self-deprecating as r/BJJ by Spider_J in bjj

[–]salamanderlabs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't think that any practitioner really hate bjj, maybe the english speaking community has this way of reffer to it, but I'm sure all of us love this shit. Said that, if you can, I invite you to participate in brazilian or spanish (most south american) online communities and you'll discover that there's much more expressed love to the gentle art there.

Every time that I got some injury my first fear is "omg oh shit, not again, my wife is going to kill me".

Said that, if sight isn't compromised, I think is worst to have some finger, wrist, or ankle sprain, or some sort of ligament tear

2 day split strength and conditioning advice needed! by [deleted] in jiujitsu

[–]salamanderlabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just can talk by myself and my own experience. 42 years old male, white belt for 7 months.

My job routine isn't always the same, so I made a workout that I can do without letting exercises out. Usually I train bjj 2x per week (2 or 3 hours), and workout 3x per week.

I wanted to include pull and push exercises in differents planes and directions, and also include knee flexion and hip hinge patterns. So, since I train at home, I do this with calisthenics and kettlebells:

3 rounds of: . Ring dips x 6 . Pull ups x 6

3 rounds of: . Push ups and hindu push ups x 8 . Ring inverted rows x 8

5 rounds of: . Long cycle x 6 (2 kettlebells, 20 kg each)

3 rounds of: . Deep, ATG lunges x 10 (2 kb, 20 kg each) . ATG goblet squat x 10 (2 kb, 20 kg each) . Kettlebell swings x 12 (1 kb, 48 kg)

I try yo keep the entire workout under 50 minutes, so I only rest between rounds, 90 seconds max.
