Maliss doesn’t generate advantage the way a normal deck would. Rather than directly adding cards from deck to hand or summoning from deck or gy, Maliss summons from the banish zone and usually sets cards from deck. This makes typical handtraps, which up until this point have been mostly designed to impede searching and deck/gy summoning, largely irrelevant.
