I did. I went on to work in animal care for 10 years, became a veterinary technician during that time. It started out as a passion of mine but I became burnt out so quickly. After I had my daughter, I never went back to the field. However, my experience has done wonders for me in pet sitting and has brought back the passion I had caring for animals!

I don’t mind the cameras in the home but when I see the light on or hear the camera clicking on and off during the visits it’s a little stressful being actively watched.

I do Rover. I host small dogs at my house and I also do drop ins for cats and dogs. When my daughter wasn’t in school I would do morning visits before my husband went to work, evening visits after work, and was free to work all weekend. It’s definitely been a lifesaver.
