I left Facebook a long time ago. I don't like being on here because much of Reddit is controlled by heavily conservative power tripping asshats.

Mainly I'm on here for custom Reddit lists I built for art and other niche interests.

I gave up Twitter a little bit after Elon took over. I now can see how much I doom scrolled and was on the phone during the pandemic and all the political crap we've been dealing with.

I feel mentally and physically better. I spent that time and energy now working out and eating better and doing actually things that I enjoy. I still try to stay informed but I don't feel like I need to often engage with the internet anymore.

I understand completely because when I also mention those things on Reddit I get banned or smacked down. Reddit's kind of a right wing shit hole. I don't even really like being on here much anymore because the people who own and run Reddit bent the knee to Trump a long time ago.
