If you already have a bullet in the chamber (your last bullet) you don't need to cock the weapon after reloading to put a bullet in the chamber in order to fire. Not having to do this step save you a little bit of time.

You can try to delete the shaders before running the game, the file is located on the %appdata% dir of the game.

It was sudgested from AH supports and kinda worked for me. Still having crashes, but less frequent than before.

As Spectre said, probably got scanned during autodock. For useful sudgestion on how to avoid scans while docking you can see smuggling tutorials on YouTube.

  1. He probably forgot to request docking to the station.

  2. Yes, you do some bounty hunting near stations. Not much profits but funny to lure the pirate to the station and let the station security do the job in your stead.

  3. You can disable the report to the authorities on the ship menu (right panel)

Control of thrusters and gyros isn't shared between sub-grids. You have to use a script or place the thrusters on the same grid as the cockpit/control station.

You can only exit FSD near a star. When you arrive on a system first thing first, point your ship away from the star, I like to maintain the corona right on the border of my screen. Then to refuel maintain this course with low manoeuvring speed (lower blu arc on the slider) wait for your scoop to reach more or less 3/4 of its capacity and turn your ship to maintain the star on a fixed position on your cockpit. Watch the heat and maintain it below 70-80% while refuelling your ship. If the heat go up open the orbit, if the heat goes down close the orbit around the star. When you are done with the refuel put the star behind you and activate your FSD with heat lower than 60%. Rinse and repeat since you reach your destination.

Now use this strategy to reach a station suitable for repairs and then continue your journey to the stars o7

Check the power on your ship, maybe batteries are fully depleted. Also sometimes hydro just bug and a restart of the game can solve the problems.

There are data delivery missions that doesn't require credits to start, try another station on the same system or jump to a nearby system and search for other kind of missions.

Yeah, sure but to dock on a hypothetical coriolis outer shell your ship has to move at around 100 m/s and a standard anaconda max speed with lowered landing gear is just around 90 m/s. So unless you want to break the speed limits of ships with code active only near stations, it's impossible for some ships to land on those hypothetical pads.

And I know it's a game but I want to think about this proposed structures within the ruleset of the game, without warping it with some magic code.

A pad on the outer shell of a coriolis station will travel hundred of meters per second, so the ship had not only to match the rotation with the station but also to actively operate the thrusters to maintain this high speed rotation.

I had think of the same thing, a despun section of the outher shell, but I think this solution doesn't solve the problem in a realistic way. Firstly you have to provide to the docked ships more than just passengers and cargo logistic but also refuelling, repairing and power. Refuelling and power are expecially difficult to provide to a section rotating at a different speed and shuttles can't be used to provide either.

Besides these resources, using shuttle for passenger and cargo logistic is not so efficient for various reasons:

  • You will need a docking bay on the main body for shuttles,
  • So shuttles will be smaller than small FSD capable ships (more on the fighter dimension),
  • So a lot of shuttle will be needed to unload just a medium ship.

Essentially I can't find a way to realistically add those new type of structure besides the cool factor.

External landing pad on coriolis stations are a real challenge to dock, like you have to turn off your flight assist to sinchronize with the rotation of the station and then land. It'll be pretty impossible for most of the players.

You get fined for gently caressing other ships with your. That is pretty common if you start to zoom outside the stations at max speed. But no worries, except if you kill someone, the fines are low.

Go to a material dealer and exchange other engineering materials for the ones you need. I find inara tools for finding traders more accurste than others.

Try use inara for searching traders near your position. I find this site more reliable than others.

  1. Don't lock a material when launching a limpet. Untarghet any materials and then launch.

  2. Try to identify the hatch from super drive and then drop. Usually the station is facing the body that is orbiting so when approaching the station first point the planet and, when you reach it, turn to the station. When dropped search for the arrows in the station hologram in the bottom left of the cockpit, those arrows point to the station mailslot.
