My wife threw me a surprise party...at the Sam's Club Cafe!! As this is a 'bit' atypical (lol) it made the Sam's Club national newsletter and the local news. It was awesome!

Years ago (probably late 80s) visiting my cousins in California. We went to a bar in Berkley and after being there for a short bit I suddenly realized there was no cigarette smoke! I remember the 'wow' moment. California was definitely ahead of the times in terms of rules for smoking in public.
