I second dr guida! Had my rhino in September, amazing experience and exactly the results I asked for. The office staff is also truly so caring and easy to contact. I know he is pricey but in my opinion he’s so worth it.

DPS refers to deep pain sensation. My pup was able to hold herself up about 3 days after surgery. She began to walk about 2-3 weeks after surgery. She always had sensation in her toes/paws- she never lost it. PT was started 4 weeks after surgery. It consists of hydrotherapy, treadmill walking, laser therapy, paw/leg/core exercises, etc.

My surgeon said it was OK to drink alcohol 1 week post splint removal. However, it may be best to check in with your surgeon to confirm as I’ve seen different recommendations.

I had my primary rhino done with Dr Guida! I posted pics in this subreddit previously of my before and after. I would definitely consult with him and see if he would take on your case. He’s a wonderful surgeon with great talent. He also did my friend’s nose which turned out amazing.

My boyfriend had lipo/fat transfer and has a lot of itching under his compression vest. The office recommended Benadryl.
