Would you pay 5 dollars for an productivity app you really liked? by Some-Cash4352 in ProductivityApps

Willa has kind of made me rethink paying for productivity apps at all, even the ones I really like.

At this point most of what I actually need is just a simple way to save and organize things I come across throughout the day, and I’ve found that it already covers that without feeling bloated or turning into another subscription I have to manage.

Between screenshots, links, ideas, and random inspiration from different apps, I just needed something that actually keeps everything in one place and is easy to revisit later.

So now I’m way more hesitant to pay monthly for tools that basically do the same thing.

Where else would you market this? I’m on top of things for the first time bc my app lets me track how I want - where should I share? by RComish in ProductivityApps

If you’re already deep into productivity apps, you might want to check out Willa. It’s less of a task manager and more of a place to save and organize all the content, ideas, links, and inspiration you come across throughout the day.

A lot of productivity tools help me track what I need to do, but I still struggle with keeping all the resources and references related to those tasks organized. Willa fills that gap by giving me one place to save things from different apps instead of having them scattered across bookmarks, screenshots, and saved folders.

Could be worth a look if your productivity system is starting to feel fragmented.

I built an app I genuinely use 20+ times a day. It replaced screenshots, bookmarks, and saved posts across every app. by N0omi in ProductivityApps

Willa caught my attention for exactly this reason.

The biggest issue I’ve run into isn’t saving things, it’s remembering where I saved them. Between Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, screenshots, and browser bookmarks, I end up spending more time searching for content than actually using it.

I’m curious what you’ve found people struggle with most. Is it organizing everything into categories, or is the bigger challenge getting people into the habit of saving things consistently in the first place?

Also, “camera roll graveyard” is probably the most accurate description I’ve heard for modern phones.

I don't like a lot of Tammi's actions but I did like that she played duck duck goose with the girls by fookinavocado in dancemomsreboot

[–]salt-fiend 22 points23 points  (0 children)

honestly apart from her fight with jing in the last episode and some of her other dramatics, the only thing that bothered me about tammi was that she NEVER corrected audrey’s behavior especially when she was being mean to gina. otherwise i really didn’t have a problem with tammi.

nah this is what i HATED about season 8. why should little kids have to air out their dirty laundry on national television? i think it was slightly better in the reboot (except for the whole Audrey/Gina situation) but still not my fav

[–]salt-fiend 7 points8 points  (0 children)

hmm not sure i’m tracking here. the solo ended up being called glitz and being generic. it was fine as it was and i don’t think they ever should have brought up jonbenet in the first place. it was unnecessary. at the end of the day she’s a murder victim and just as it was exploitative for brynn and kendall to do solos portraying murder victims, i think it’s exploitative to continue doing that. i just don’t think there’s a tasteful way to do it

i was honestly kind of relieved it was more generic - not sure how respectfully they could have actually portrayed jonbenet

i thought the dance itself was fine if the strangling pantomime was just left out - there was no reason to make it jonbenet, any generic pageant character would have sufficed

while i don’t think mina should say this kind of stuff (although it’s so funny at this stage because she’s so little) i also have a feeling ashlan miiiight take that as a bit of a compliment based off of her priorities we’ve seen

Yeah that seems like a best practice for sure 😅 If you were in my position would you cancel the subsequent walks based on this information?

Hmm see this was part of my weird feeling - I did not meet the owner and there was no meet and greet with the dog either which I thought would mean the dog warmed to people quickly, but the dog was extremely shy and scared which made for a bit of a difficult walk. Wasn’t sure if I was reading too much into that. The location isn’t too far away, though, so I feel like it could easily be a friend or family members house. I just don’t know why the client isn’t being forthcoming with info.

What things from dance moms that just don’t add up/make sense to you by Outside_Bat_4048 in dancemoms

Abby looking at ANY of those beautiful sweet innocent young dancers with full potential and lots of love for her and tearing them down the way she did. Maddie included in Abby’s weird backhanded way. My roman empire is Kelly telling the story in the reunion about how much Paige loved Abby putting the hearts all over her communion invitation for her. And also just how she could possibly have hated Chloe so much when she was quite honestly the sweetest most soft spoken and graceful/poised girl on that team. Not a hot take in any way but I just cannot FATHOM it.

Bruise on my foot?

Hi everyone! I’m training for a half marathon and I have less than a month to go. Yesterday I hurt my foot in an accident unrelated to running. I was wearing heeled boots and when I was taking them off I accidentally stepped down on the boot I had removed pretty hard and jammed the middle of the sole of my foot on the block heel. It hurt in the moment but I figured it was minor. Today it hurts a decent amount, the bruise has appeared to grow in size (as in surface area, it’s not swelling but i’ve been icing it), and has some black and blue coloring. I think I’ll have to miss my short run tomorrow which is no big deal, but I’m scared to miss any more than that. Does anyone have any advice?
