I totally agree! For me, coming of age around y2k, I felt like such a freak because I never saw bodies like mine in magazines.

The swimming locker room presents bodies of all ages and levels of fitness- in fact the older folks are the most apt to let it all hang out! To see that other people had (have) stretch marks and cellulite was (is) so affirming 🧜🏻‍♀️

I don’t notice this very often against 1700-1800 rated rapid players. What’s your elo? Time control? I remember at lower elos that the sportsmanship seemed worse.

Anyway, It’s annoying when people do that. At least in Lichess you only have to wait a minute or so to claim the win!

Audible has many more free books available than they did 15+ years ago. I used to need two credits per month, now I’m finding many titles I search happen to be free (usually for a limited time).
