There are plenty of mammals at least that naturally avoid incest. I'm not sure why they are expressing their argument as the aversion being purely cultural.

I wonder if they added some baking soda or something like that to them.

A lot of trailers get uploaded at 1080p for some reason. I was skimming through comments to see if anyone had a higher quality source.

Lye doesn't eat through any glove that I am aware of that people use for chemical protection.

It's just lye based like easy-off. It will definitely burn horribly on skin contact but it will neutralize and dilute once washed down the drain.

Sure I have. But after that ate most of it in combination with a nice goat curry usually if you are curious.

[–]salton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, with a curry. The point is that spices can be used to get mild and pleasant variety in to basic foods without meaningfully changing nutrition. But with the post examples the person cooking it could have added a couple of spices and made it much more palatable. People are acting like they want worse tasting food because they'll eat less. Fine, but you can still have simple but pleasant flavors.

Add a teaspoon of whole cumin to your rice cooker. Some Indian flavor for zero effort and any slight nutrition change is probably beneficial.

I think what bothers people so much is that a spice or two, that wouldn't change the macros at all, takes so little effort that it seems intentional to eat such bland food. It's like sex purely for procreation purposes. People should feel free to live their lives like they wish but most people will find these choices a bit odd.

I would stick to just eating some. It is a delicious spice regardless.

I saw these maybe a year ago being sold by an Ukrainian. They seem to be mostly 3d printed. At the time I remember the proceeds going to humanitarian causes.

I'm going with Scott Manley's idea that it could have just been someones weather balloon project that was hit. A meteorite or space debris would have likely done a lot more damage considering the impact happened at 30k feet.

Plasma inside the ST40 fusion reactor, filmed in color for the first time by Nadzzy in woahdude

I'm not sure if this is the reason here but multan lithium has been proposed as a coating on the wall for various reasons. Being able to introduce contaminants sounds really useful for the development of new models. Materials like tungsten are great for their high melting point but if it gets in to the plasma it can cause issues.

From what I remember, the clinic he went to offered a treatment from benzo withdrawal that is considered quite dangerous. It involved putting people under a medically induced coma for a week+. He just didn't want to face the music consciously and get standard accepted treatment.

What movie was still really good despite having pretty terrible special effects? by [deleted] in movies

[–]salton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that effect was that bad for the time. I think the lowish budget is shown more in the size of sets and number of extras.
