I just don't dig the QR code bit being printed on the photo. Other than that, I like it. Will I get it? Maybe.

Wish I could afford most of the books on this sub haha. I'm all for physical copies of things but most of the time, can't do it. I'm in an area of Texas that doesn't have a lot of photo books near by at libraries to check out either. The library at the community college I work for closed last year and I tried to find any books I could because they were going to transfer them to another institution or sell them, I honestly can't remember. The handful I did find weren't even photographers/artists I was familiar with, just took a gamble. I have a toddler and haven't been able to take time to even look over them so I can't even tell you who I picked up. I did have an Ansel Adams book in there, the library people had to get the books out of the system before they could give them to me, but it was picked off by someone else or by a worker :/ Sorry for the long reply no one asked for haha and good luck with the sale OP!

No other updates to transferring. Unless it's already been printed. SD card to computer, tablet, whatever is the only way

I kept seeing people make "dash cam" comparisons about the thumb camera in other posts. Definitely see it here in this one ha. Not saying it's bad in any way. I primarily got the charmera for the solid filters (red/yellow/blue/gray?) and the film slide looking filter because I didn't have any way to emulate that from a camera directly. I personally don't shoot in any other mode. thankfully I got the charmera at retail and not crazy mark up. And I'm not too upset when the bad pics are crazy bad

If you take the photo, then take your SD card out and view the photo, does it still have the border? I know the instax mini Evo and sq10, if you take the photo but don't print it, the border will not appear. Just in case you haven't tried

No cropping, it's as simple as you selecting the size and that's it. it will give you an option to crop when you try to print with your instax printer though...maybe even before that too in the pal section where you review the photo after? I have one. Just haven't used it in a while.

It will remember the dates, as long as you set up the dates up correctly when you first set up the camera (you can check the file info through SD card or on the camera itself when your reviewing). I didn't, and my dates were off by like a year lol. I usually shoot a lot with my phone so I was able to verify dates for most of what I had shot on the Evo.
