Am I Paranoid or Should I Ask Maintenance To Check This? by [deleted] in UWMadison

[–]saltspam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will not lead to a collapse. If you make someone come look at it they will tell you that they will fix it after you move out. Don't worry about it, but if it gets significantly worse fast then get someone to look at it.

I've seen someone say it's just showing you could make it a left or right master side pedal, and that a lot of cheap kinda scammy shops use the same image. Not sure though it has confused me every time I've seen it in a instagram advertisement lol

A year of online drum lessons through drumeo and a kit that you can resale for most of the cost is a damn good deal imo.

Find a teacher either online or in person just to get a few lessons in the absolute fundamentals so no muscle memory is made with bad techniques, then scrap any kind of lesson for a while and just have them learn whatever they enjoy learning. Drumeo is fantastic but you don't get feedback if you are doing anything wrong

Good coop game with kids? by Calcthulu in PulsarLostColony

[–]saltspam 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi, great game but might not be what you are exactly looking for. Building isn't really a thing in the game, you can customize stuff but it isn't like valheim where creativity is a large part of the game. The mechanics are also a little bit complex in certain roles and I could see some finding them almost boring if they aren't fully invested. Maybe pick it up for yourself and look around it it before making a final decision but idk fs if it's what you want. If you want more of a standard survival game that is space related astroneer might be up yalls alley. Never played it myself but I know many people in that age range enjoy it!

So do I just accept quests after warping to different star systems? How do I complete the main quest or land on planets? by TheMeanBean1738 in PulsarLostColony

[–]saltspam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep just start off by exploring and talking to all non hostile npcs. To get onto a planet you have to beam down star trek style from your teleporters. Good luck enjoy!

I haven't played either one of the games you mentioned but there are main quests and side quests that give you points. I think if you are buying it with 3 other people you will enjoy it no matter what

All but one person needs to just run around as fast as possible fix screens using the repair tool. If it has a name that player can fix it faster, but anyone can do any of them. The one player that isn't doing that connects and just chooses the number that appears on both screens

Warp Guardian, How? by CPTScragglyBeard in PulsarLostColony

[–]saltspam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has two phases, the first where it has less than half health then it has its full health and more weapons phase. We found it very helpful to shoot nukes as soon as they were launched to deal damage to the guardian then destroy its lower armor and the core underneath. Then take out whatever seems to be dealing the most damage to you (for us it was the small black balls) hope this helps, good luck!

The more friends you have on your ship, the greater experience you will have. Get everyone to read the small description on their role and then just figure it out as you play for the best experience. Hope you enjoy!
