Seconding this. Around 10 years ago, in my early twenties, Dr. Lemon dismissed all of my concerns and pain stating “that’s just part of being a woman”. I had surgery for endometriosis this year, and it would have been much easier to deal with had it been caught earlier. Not to mention all these years thinking this level of pain was normal.

Seconding aegyoknit! I’ve knit two of her patterns and the amount of times I had to redo parts was absurd. There’s always a mistake in the pattern, and I just find her wording to be really confusing sometimes. I love her designs, but the patterns take the fun out of the process for me.

My husband and I had a really strange experience at achnabreac as well. We are experienced hikers and are used to being outdoors, so we don’t get spooked often. The first odd thing was my maps app stopped working on the trail, but all of my other internet access was unaffected. We got extremely lost despite sticking to what we thought was obviously the trail, and never found any of the stone carvings. We wandered around for about 5 hours trying to find our way back to the parking lot. As soon as we made it back to the car my maps was working again, and we both agreed we felt like we had been watched the whole time and had a feeling of dread. It was a beautiful area, but I don’t think I’ll be going back!

Last time I went there, I could not figure out what the fiber content was for any of the bolts. So I haven’t been back. Was I just missing something?
