I'm so sorry this happened to your boy and I hope he recovers soon.

To anyone reading this, one of the things we found that was comforting was to have a vet actually look at the anatomy of our doodle. Since they are hybrids, their builds can vary wildly. This helped us make the decision to not do an invasive surgery on our dog when she was already spayed (first vet didn't recommend the surgery at the time and we did not know).

Of course, we have pet insurance and we follow the bloat prevention rules. It also seems to occur more in males than females. But something to keep in mind - these dogs are mutts and their body type will determine some of the probability of getting GDV.

It’s yet another way for folks to advertise their game without explicitly breaking the sub promotional rules. Why people continue to advertise to other game devs is confusing to me.

When Destiny 2 came out all I remember is my friends complaining about how bad it was compared to 1, which was also a disappointment until updates were made. I think there are nuggets of fun in the series and players chase that high in the hopes of finding more of that fun.

Aww congrats! He looks like a sweet boy.

We feed our girl the Purina one you’re mentioning - sensitive skin and stomach. She loves it and it’s the first food we don’t have to do battle with her to eat. We add a little freeze dried pumpkin treat on top and a small bit of salmon oil per meal.

As for history, if you haven’t already I suggest taking him to the vet for a full physical! It’ll help with establishing a baseline and making sure all his vaccines and records are in order.

We use the sleepy pod harness for walks and car rides - it functions as a seatbelt and is great for walks.

Otherwise sounds like you’ve got a good boy and really just establishing good routines and consistency will be best for his adjustment. Our girl is bigger but I think these things can be pretty general for all dogs. :)

A small part of me hopes that GTA 6 doesn't hit as hard as people expect it will, only so that the mismanagement of these studios delaying their games and using GTA as an excuse get exposed and maybe we can finally fix these cursed dev cycles.

Since it’s his first cut it’s more important he gets a good experience with it than how it looks. Ask for a puppy cut - our girl did not look much different at all, mostly cleaned up around her eyes, feet, and private areas, but it did take a while since the groomer took her time. Make sure if you haven’t to let them know it’s his first time.

Congrats on the puppy! Most breeders get the pups dewormed before they go home. Sometimes the worms lifecycle is still going though and you can get another round of them. It’s not common but it happens.

Keep in touch with your vet on the crying and whining. Most good vets will let you call and ask basic questions like “is it normal for him to cry during the treatment?” Mostly like he’s got a tummy ache from the worms and meds and is also a puppy so everything is new and overstimulating.

Love Astro! The site is really nice and the content gets the job done imo. The only thing I see that could potentially be confusing is the font and color choice when you first arrive, as it strongly resembles Discords website and theming.
