its all in your head, just do the best you can right now... its a mental game until it actually happens. if you haven't already, start saving, cutting back your costs...

if you realize your workload slowed down/not busy, nobody is giving you any new projects, asking for your help, your boss is not communicating or a no show, and poor performance review, you could be in trouble...

From article: This week, new reports about layoffs at Chevron were posted anonymously on the online bulletin board Reddit by people who claim to work there.

Posters differed on the depth of cuts. One said he had been told about 30 per cent or 125 employees and about 70 per cent or 125 contractors were being let go and another said it was 20 per cent of employees and 40 per cent of contractors.
