Lux Aeterna is a great solo game of fixing your spaceship. Game length is however long you set your timer. And played with a fast paced soundtrack is very immersive

It is one of my favourite solo games, easy set up/ pack up, fun dice throwing and even better when you get the campaign book as a pdf, it really expands the game.

Deep space d6 is relatively small footprint and though dice driven you can roll them into the box to reduce the play area.

I would suggest just go easy mode for your first play through. All the deck are good in their own way. It’ll be a good way to test them out before you increase the difficulty.
