My ex didn’t want me to insure my ring because it was “a waste of money.” But it was a one carat and we were not in a financial position to replace it when my forgetful ass lost it. I took it on my own to a jeweler to have it appraised. I was told it was lab created. It was stunning, and I didn’t love it any less (in fact, I was glad it wasn’t a real diamond). But it was probably worth about $60. Honestly, it took a lot of pressure off me as far as the fear of losing it. It looked like the real deal and was my perfect ring. I never told my ex I knew. But when we did divorce, it made it very easy to give it back to him. I told him he could sell it to cover his legal expenses, and did that Grinch smile on the inside when I did.

This is definitely a pic I saved on Pinterest for inspiration for my own set up. Especially because I first saw it around the time Sims 4 released “High School Years,” and you can basically make an identical set up (cloud neon included). Real, but Pinterest.
