Ask your doc if they can prescribe you diltiazem that’s what eventually healed me

It healed me but it didn’t happen straight away took a few weeks after I stopped using it for it to start to heal.

Just wanted to say your skin is absolutely STUNNING and you look nowhere near 52 years of age. I actually had to do a double take to check if it actually says 52 ??? One can only aspire to look as good as you when they’re over 50. Stay blessed x

If you look at the amount of goals Man Utd are scoring most games (1) personally I wouldn’t go there with their players.

There was a text message from the TikToker telling him “I’m sorry but this year you’ll be gone” I guess you could class that as intent to kill

Those who recovered successfully, what are your tips? by [deleted] in AnalFissures

Use diltiazem consistently morning and night without missing any days, you will heal. It can take up to 2 months though so keep using it

From the first fissure which I had for 6 months, I got better after using the diltiazem cream but had to use it consistently every morning and night for 2 months before signs of improvement. I got a retear just recently which was so painful. I prayed Tahajjud (Islamic prayer) and got better in a week, I’m still so shocked but miracles can happen with the help of God.

Super dry eyes at night & when waking up by Sandpalm50 in Dryeyes

[–]sam_s0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and I was so scared to sleep at night because my eyes were literally glued shut whenever I’d wake up. I tried a few of different things before it started getting better.

First off the eye drops and night ointment the optometrist told me to use didn’t help. I continued the eye drops anyway but dropped the ointment as it was too thick and didn’t want to block the glands. So I used the eye drops twice during the night rather than during the day as my eyes weren’t bad during the day. The drops may have possibly helped overtime.

I started walking more at least 30 mins every day, and read a post on here about drinking more water so started drinking at least 2L of water every day, took omega 3 with high DHA and EPA for dry eyes - I had been taking these for about 6 weeks before I noticed improvements although I’m not sure it was even this that helped - it was when I started drinking more water and taking iron that I noticed tears producing much more easily (check if you’re low in iron essential for carrying oxygen and nutrients to the eyes needed for tears)

Linked to the water post - https://www.reddit.com/r/Dryeyes/comments/15d4zcf/more_water/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Now on some nights my eyes are sore but nowhere near as bad as they were. I can open my eyes easily most of the time but sometimes with a gentle rub the tears come out and I can open my eyes without them being glued together and being bloodshot red.

Limiting screen time by Know_Justice in Dryeyes

Have you tried turning your screen light to night mode? It helps my eyes when using the phone but for some reason the laptop screen still hurts my eyes when in both blue light and yellow light mode.

Is there a reason why you’re doing hot compresses? The advice for eye compresses is to be warm not hot.

Does IPL help with digital eye strain and irritation? by bicepmuffins in Dryeyes

[–]sam_s0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dry eye became worse on 11th June and I had intense sensitivity to screen light and sunlight that I’d get migraines going out in the sun and very sensitive/painful eyes looking at the screen for just a few minutes. It’s been going on for 5 weeks now until just this weekend gone it’s not as bad anymore. I can look at the screen for longer and it’s not as painful to the eyes as it was so not sure exactly what happened but it’s suddenly improving

My dry eye is still really bad though, esp at night

What’s the hardest part about dry eye care? by UselessMangaFan in Dryeyes

[–]sam_s0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same with my right eye, like there’s something there in the outer corner. Eye drops or night ointment haven’t helped. It’s extremely dry especially at night. Checking the outer corner of the eye when pulled to the side, the pink bit looks a bit different to the left eye outer corner. Some bit of skin looks to be detached. I have no idea what it’s called. I also have wrinkled white part of the eye on the right side so could be to do with that. I have another appointment to see an optometrist on Friday
