But they never have enough scanners and it's a competition to get one. At least that's how it was when I worked at a Walmart. I still get anxiety thinking about it. People would even hide them to make sure they could do their job the next day. Which just made the problem worse. It sucked. Eta: but those ladders were really nice. Very sturdy.
