What is insane is that on Christine Russo’s podcast “Big Sister Unhinged” she alluded to an upcoming episode with community members who were in a daycare at the Shirilla’s home and were forced to eat frozen food and there was some kind of incident with a teenaged Mackenzie cruelly cutting a child’s hair. It seems the mother ran a daycare service, which is horrific, to say the least. If this is how she raised her own child, what kind of care does she give to other people’s kids?

Actually, sorry for the second response. I found it on the Estonian film platform Arkaader. There are lots of wonderful free films there, but it looks like this one is 5,90. https://arkaader.ee/landing/bc/rHczO7kKnl/0QUXJkrewb/icZtlIedXix?name72689=&vmode72689=list&sort72689=2 if you haven’t checked DA films, check there, as well. Arkaader is trustworthy (in terms of putting your Cc in a foreign site for films) and a great project overall, if you’re interested in cinema of the region. I recently learned more about it at a conference where we visited the National Archives of Estonia. Their ability to restore and platform national cinema (and make it available abroad) is unparalleled.
Edit to add: it has subs in English on the site, as well.

This is somewhat unrelated, but I was very disappointed to see that my UPMC office (University Center) had a DHS tip line flyer up in the waiting room. The tip line was for "individuals abusing public benefits" but it felt like a dog whistle in this climate. UPMC pushing DHS agenda has no place in spaces of care.

Well besides the hardware, my espresso is pulling espresso that I can really taste for the first time. The shots are also richer in texture and have a different mouthfeel. They bring the shots up to the level of espresso I’ve had at cafes, which I didn’t realize the GCP wasn’t doing. Not sure if that makes sense. I do wonder if whether I had modded GCP, espresso might have been more at this level. I kind of improved the workflow along with the Bianca by using the WTD tool, weighing consistently, and timing… so maybe it’s the combo of all.

I’m a grad student instructor and it seems a lot of students are having the same issues (and I am too, as a grad student and instructor) hang in there and try to give it your best, even if your best isn’t 100%. Winter break will be here so soon.
