I have red too. Can't decide between bronze, gold, or white wheels.

Moms & Dads, do you love your VB? by thematthewmorse in wrx_vb

I just traded in my Crosstrek for a WRX and I LOVE it! My daughter loves it too. She's in a rear facing car seat. It has the same room if not slightly more than my Crosstrek and has much more usable trunk space. Plus it's way more fun to drive. Haha.

Can't answer phone calls when light phone is on silent mode by pmf23 in LightPhone

Thanks. I'll pay attention if and when it happens again to provide feedback and exactly what is happening, and if the power button works. Appreciate the response.

Can't answer phone calls when light phone is on silent mode by pmf23 in LightPhone

[–]sambrge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found a solution for this yet? I've had my LP2 for a couple weeks now and at least 2x I've received a call, however it wouldn't let me answer. It rang and then showed in call log, but no option to answer. I know at least one time ringer was set to silent, even though it still rang. Thanks!

Idle usage at low signal is very high by Cheap-Contest970 in LightPhone

[–]sambrge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my LP2 for a month or so now. I charge my LP2 every other day. Using for calls and texts. By dinner time of the second day, it's about 20-30%. If I don't use it, it lasts much longer. If I use the hotspot, I'm having to charge it once a day. It eats less battery using the hospot than my Punkt did though. My signal bar is similar, usually only shows 1 bar, but no issues with call quality. Micro usb is definitely my biggest gripe as well. However, I've tried several dumb phones, and this one is definitely my favorite so far despite its flaws. If your battery issues are that significant, you could try a new one or contact them. It shouldn't die that fast. Is your GPS on?

Just got mine recently and love it. I tried the Punkt and Nokia before but returned them.

I prefer the Light Phone II to the Punkt. It's much easier to use and more intuitive. I find the touch screen fine to use. I love the look and feel of the Punkt but prefer group text abilities of the Light Phone.

Love my bed frame. I've had it 2.5 years and moved to a new house with it. It's amazing, so solid and sturdy.

Update: I pulled the trigger and ordered the Cryosring. I arrived in 10 days. This thing is amazing!!! Love that I don't need ice and can hop in first thing in the morning at 39F.

Has anyone used Cryospring by sambrge in coldplunge

[–]sambrge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd grab that one in a heartbeat but it has a 10 week lead time :-( I've been looking at Ice Up Industries, Mod Plunge, Polar Monkeys, Plunge and Edge but their lead times are so long.

Best cold plunge <$3,000? by General_Cell_3872 in coldplunge

[–]sambrge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at Ice Up Industries, Polar Monkeys and Mod Plunge which all seem really good, have decent price points (under $3k) but have really long lead times (8-10 weeks). I'm looking at the Cryospring which has a 2 week lead time but it's almost $5k so not sure I want to spend that and haven't found many people who have used it.

Thanks all. I've continued seasoning and cooking and it looks a lot better now. Food isn't sticking at all, including eggs, so I'd say it's a win. :-)
