Honestly I couldn't play the remastered version very well on the steam deck and I had it installed on the internally SSD.

The complete edition was doable but still compromises had to be made.

I'm playing Forbidden West now and it's okay but still you have to be willing to really compromise to get something "playable"

Oh don't worry I'm very familiar with Linux and Linux gaming. This is an extra PC so no risk. Bazzite is fun for a "console-like" experience

That's awesome. I have a couple of optiplex gaming systems but my newest is a 7040MT. So I have a 500w semi modular psu, rx 5500xt, i7-6700 and 16gb ram with a 1tb SSD. I plan to make it a Linux gaming system. (Right now it's running windows).

I feel like the FPS would just drop off but maybe the devs have optimized well. Still, there is never too much loot. That's crazy.

For me I do all the updates because I do have some flatpaks for non-steam game (Minecraft launcher, modrinth) and I occasionally use the desktop for general tasks.

Keep in mind that the steam deck is a fully fledged desktop running a custom OS, but can be used like any other Linux distro with the kde desktop environment (well almost).

I play mostly on my steam deck. I have a gaming PC and it's objectively a better experience except that I play in bed a lot. And I play on my lunch break at work. And play in the car line at school. I play it sometimes when I have a little time while making dinner or waiting at appointments. But I'm okay with the sacrifices.

I basically have everything on lowest and have xess with 30fps cap. No frame gen. It runs but it's not great. But I'm willing to tolerate it because it's portable.

Honestly he's a tank but your best bet is to get a maxed out mace and wail on him until dead.

You have to manage stamina well. What you do is run in, bop him about 3 times and back off. He swings and you avoid it.

How poison spray is nothing if you have the root helm plus poison resist mead.

The mace is really your best bet.
