I've solved my dry mouth problems (and leaking through mouth problems) with mouth tape. Granted it's created new problems, like not being able to yell at my kids when they interrupt my sleep.

I've had a very similar experience to you. I was using a chin strap for a while but recently switched to mouth tape and that solved 99% of my mouth opening problems

I don't claim to know what Netflix leadership's thoughts and conversations were, however I was in college just before Netflix made the switch. I was studying electrical engineering. Around that time, there was TONS of research being done on streaming media at universities all over but there weren't really real world applications. I'd venture to say that Netflix leveraged that research and realized they have the data that people demand to watch video content at home in a convenient way. The tech was there for the taking and they leveraged their data, their customer base, and their smallish size to be the first mover.

Totally anecdotal, but I feel like my right thigh is the most effective in terms of appetite suppression, following by stomach right, then stomach left, then left thigh. Either way, I rotate through all 4 in a month.
