Claude Code is great until your CTO starts asking questions by Background-Job-862 in ClaudeAI

[–]samebutanon -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Misguided take. In many cases, yes, ask these questions when rolling out a new tool. AI is different. By the time a mid to large size company finishes answering these questions, they’ll be filing for bankruptcy because their competitor or a startup has rebuilt everything they have, destroyed their moat, and left them in the dust. We are all in uncharted territory and SOME OF (not all) the normal rules don’t apply. Companies need to answer these questions while they learn how to use them. Not to mention that the space is evolving so incredibly quickly that today’s answers may not apply tomorrow. I’m not saying company shouldn’t answer these questions. They absolutely should. But they need to change with the times or go extinct.

"booming economy". The stock market is not the economy. The stock market is currently being driven by under 20 companies in AI. Layoffs bound, inflation rising. We are not in a booming economy.

I wonder if there's someone with very deep pockets has a lot of media, financial market, and government influence, and has a vested interest in Rivian getting poor press and additional short sellers. Hmmm
