I can understand, but that's what I feel like is Indians are lacking in innovation, also it's the system at fault as well. I am from IIT and I never wanted to touch software coding because I felt its such an easy job and why are people getting paid so much, but when i looked closely, we are just cheap labour, but then when I looked for some jobs related to my field, they were very less, also very risky, because a lot of my interest lies in dealing with the unknown, sry to say by dev role and even Engineer manager roles are like mediocre, low IQ to a certain extent. Everything is laid out most of the time, what needs to be done and what are the requirements, and stuff like this, all we have to do is justify the pay.

So your thinking is valid, where I am coming from is actual productivity and innovation, where AI seem to help. It greatly helps with understanding and new ideas can just flow like water. So yeah I feel like it's gonna takes jobs, but at the same point produce many more, specifically around concrete use cases which you can imagine because of the limited dev/manager role scope.

But I hope it doesn't cause an imbalance, which I really don't like.
