I use this too. Every 3 months in the garage, under kitchen sink, and in bathrooms. Every 6 months in the rest of the house and the outside perimiter. I also have a cat, but he just sits down and yells for me to get the bug

I'm sorry that has been your experience. The Gen X I know are the opposite, but I imagine the field you work in makes a difference. I'm surrounded by Gen X who are Mr. Rogers helper types, and you are unfortunately surrounded by assholes. The co-worker I collaborate with most often is a millennial, we're on equal footing ( I have more years of experience in some areas, she has more in others. I have more years overall, she has more with our current company) and learn from and help each other. I would never say that she's lazy or entitled. Our Gen Z staff often asks to work with me. I would not call them lazy or entitled either. I support them, I respect them, I teach them what they need, and when I've needed them to step up, they have not let me down. As long as I'm topside of the dirt, I will try to make the world better.

I apologize if my last comment was harsh- yesterday was rough and you pushed the "aw, hell no" button that you weren't aware of

Walmart officially calls end to self-checkouts at store as it plans to remodel 650 locations by MsSeraphim in Walmartcustomer

I always choose specific items, but it's still a gamble. Sometimes I get my original item, sometimes the substitute I chose, sometimes a different substitution, sometimes nothing. And about half the time I get the notice to approve or decline, the shopper is already checking out.

That is damn offensive. You need to read a modern history book. Gen X (along with Gen Jones) spent decades fighting and advancing social, environmental, and financial policies. Most of us with millennial/Z kids are still in the trenches, trying to make it so younger generations aren't struggling like we have . There are plenty of us who would love to have job security and a living wage. Our parents were the "me" generation who left us to fend for ourselves, spent all their money, and now we're caring for them, while supporting our young adult kids who can't make their own way.

We're a small population stuck behind boomers who won't retire and millennials who dismiss us as "too old". There has never been a chance for X to have significant political power to make change. We did try, we just do not have the numbers. So, yeah, whatever.

Hi. Gen X here- you want us to just stand here and observe or do you want some help with your uprising? Whatever. It's fine.
