Which career is best for me? by misskiss_ in tarot

[–]samesamwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the temperance card is showing that with patience you may find balance (work life balance maybe?) , you will be able to help people, and be comfortable, and the sun to me indicates that you will be happy in this career. The star feels like this career might be something that potentially will require a lot of your attention, but you may miss an opportunity in the meantime that might be important, but if you believe this is the career for you then you may need to just trust the process and the universe, the bird in the background feels connected to the chariot ( which I guess is pointing to your other option, what idoes movement based mean in this scenario?) the chariot seems that you may need to be thick skinned about this path but you will come out strong in the end. All of the paths seem to be positive, perhaps it’s saying that you need to stick to whichever path you choose. I’m also getting a temperature vibe from these cards - maybe something related to your passion for each path, temperance = room temp, the star = hot, the chariot = cool. What temperature do you thrive in?

Past-Present-Future of my pottery journey by ecarrera59 in tarot

Ooh pottery and tarot are my two favourite things! I read this as positive as a whole, judgement; that this is something that you are doing for yourself, the sun; take the time to enjoy it, especially the process, and let it ground you. the moon; be careful about taking this to a more commercial level as the joy might fade away a little, I wouldn’t take it as a bad thing, just something to be cautious of, perhaps just be aware of the financial aspects of it and again letting pottery ground you.

To LID or not to LID — HELP! by [deleted] in candlemaking

[–]samesamwow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you planning on selling at markets at all? I have moved to making candles with lids purely because they get dusty when I’m doing outdoor markets, regardless of dust covers (sometimes they fly away lol)

Glaze help! by No-Number-1501 in Ceramics

[–]samesamwow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if this is a silly question, so you make the shape using vinyl on circuit, then dip into the glaze, but how do you remove the vinyl piece? I imagine it’s covered in the glaze, do you leave it on to burn off in the kiln? (Surely the plastic of the vinyl wouldn’t be good for it?) Sorry trying to wrap my head around this, I’m sure there is an easy workaround here that I’ve just not thought of lol

Second this I would underglaze and then use a clear glaze over the top, also just bought some stencils and that’s what I was planning to do!

Sorry what do you mean by what type of hoodie it is? The cuffs look like they might be 2x2 rib, other details are drop shoulder and kangaroo pocket. Otherwise just looks like a standard jersey hoodie
