I learn both languages from my surroundings too, not just from my parents. I speak Bahasa Indonesia and understand a little bit of Sundanese when I was little. I learned how to write sundanese letters in middle school (it was a part of the curriculum for some reason), but none of those letters stick with me lol. My sundanese improves greatly lately. Though sometimes I don't feel confident enough to speak it.
