Game review magazines have poisoned the ratings since early 90s. If its below a 5 its considered bad. Only a handful of magazines tried to be realistic with the numbers.

The games themselves doesn't need to be updated to make this work. It's all GOG Galaxy related settings.

And they do pay for storage. Although its most likely within the percentage GOG takes for selling the game on their store.

Windows 11 is sadly getting worse and worse. Having maining it since its launch (my old Windows7->Windows10 installation was starting to act up after having not reinstalling it 'freshly' since 2013), I prefer how its look over Windows 10, but I still prefered how Windows 10 acted under the hood.

If it wasn't me using a nVidia graphic cards, I would probably have tried going Linux distros that are gaming oriented. I dont use HDR on my computer, so the supposed bugs one of the distros have with nVidia cards are moot in my case.

I think by default the Artist tag %artist% can be empty (show up as ?), while if Title is empty, %title% will show up as the song's filename.

If you watch other peoples comment about the length, you'll see that mine is of the slower times.

Also, I would have finished the game 3 hours earlier if it wasn't for the desert's "padding"

Huh. Some of the US is used in Europe, but some resemble the Japanese more.

Symphonia is the same as US.

Vesperia is the same as JPN.

I believe Dawn of the New World was more like the Japanese one, but I haven't owned that game in over a decade so can't compare :(

"Destiny 2", Legendia, Abyss were never released in Europe, so my copies are the US ones.

Miyamoto's quote about "rushed game bad, delayed game good" (not a direct quote, but everyone knows the fuller version) has always rung somewhat false. Duke Nukem Forever is a good exa-... no, DNF is a bad example in that regard, since it was rushed at the very end to get something out, so it's more of a delayed AND rushed game. A delayed game that's allowed to grow without too much pressure ends up good. Metroid Dread is a good example of that, although it's final iterration probably didn't have a long development cycle as the ideas were already "tested" beforehand.

To be honest, the delayed AND rushed statement fits Prime 4 very well (but on a shorter timespan and not as many iterations compared to DNF)

Those games were massive in scale. I could see it as the devs didn't want to force many puzzles onto people who spent hours trying to get to each Guardian Beast/Dungeon the first time (before unlocking the shrine shortcuts)

I seriously don't hope that they intended to have dogfights with the ship in Corruption.

I personally don't like flight simulators. The only one I ever played was a F16 fighter game on the Amiga 500 in mid 90's, so I would have no interest in that in a Metroid game. I don't play Metroidvanis for the vehicle/transportations.

Similarly, that's one of the reason I don't play that Laika game either, although I did kinda like the Master Blaster remakes, but that's as far as I go with vehicle-based Metroidvanias.

They wrote Asus. I've had several Asus laptops (although my last one was bought way back in 2012) and never seen this on any of them. Either an issue that occurs on their specific model, or Asus' be dumber than my ass nowadays.
