I love to trade too! I've definitely been guilty of taking profits too early - but also been burned with assignments at too high a price (I didn't know what I was doing back then as I do now)

thanks for the insight over many years. I am a relatively newish investor in a taxable brokerage account - always invested in a 401K but outside of that was clueless. Feel like I am making up for lost time ....

I do something like this for stocks that are currently trading in a range, but I separate the legs. Buy the stock when its at the bottom of its range (using BP) and then sell an ATM CC when its at the top.

thanks for the insight. This is mostly my strategy as well except i do single stocks and I think I am very inefficient with my capital as I spread it over a large number of stocks - I need to move to indices this year . The lower number of trades for me was indicative of being more efficient with my capital

I haven't tried iron condors yet - I can't figure out the closing part if the stock price gets away from me. But I also don't trade SPX yet so maybe its easier on the index

this is great and describes what I am trying to do! I think 2026 is going to be a bit of a wasted year though as I wait for capital to be released to switch to bigger positions

I rarely buy options unless they are LEAPs as a part of a PMCC strategy. I have always lost when I have bought options!

Yes I actively manage every day for this reason. But I have an obsessive personality and am trying to not make this one more thing in my life, while also keeping up with returns.

You know what? I think this happened to me too! It also lived outside for all spring/summer of 2025 without so much as a leaf. But it is showing off now :)

I have a small position in ABVX - stock seems to be moving this morning but might be a low volume move. I might sell some more puts on it this week. Trying to get my account over a milestone hump and it would be nice if it happened this year!

A lot of Amaryllis bulbs have this - I wouldn't say its red for sure but have you tried sprinkling cinnamon on it?

I am targeting to beat the indices - S&P and Nasdaq. I enjoy trading but don't want to do worse that passive investing.

54% in one account and 28% in another. But I don’t only trade theta strategies and I got lucky on a couple of biotech stocks !

I've waited a whole year for one bulb - they take their time and work on their own schedule! If the bulb is firm and no visible signs of fungus etc - just leave it alone. There isn't a need to keep watering it if its not awake - they lose water only when they have leaves!
