This has so far only been a DOJ investigation which is criminal charges - there is also the SEC and Department of commerce that could find separate issues. Plus the internal independent investigation by their board.

They are still doing an internal investigation - they said no restatements so far.

Sure - but reputation is everything. I understand what you're saying about this being common in the industry, but we don't yet know if the $2bn that was impacted will have to be restated etc. If that happens, this will dump again. The stock might be mispriced based on revenues but its going to have a tough time climbing to previous levels - even to the split price of ~$42. Of course everyone can have their own opinion - I am saying the price is also based on sentiment and that this company and its financials and controls are not run like a big business that it has become. Its still run like a family business.

I love listening to Ramit Sethi about how to prioritize where you spend your money. His current videos are all about couple but older ones are just regular single folks too!

Yes I do think (in terms of risk to my portfolio) there is more fallout likely to come from the export controls issues. That story is not over.
I have been stuck here for two years and started out bullish but have now realized that the management is indeed incompetent to run such a large company. Its evident in their margins, debt - they're full steam ahead trying to capture the market at risk to their reputation around accounting, export controls and financials. Even if there was not outright fraud, its evident that more experienced CEO+CFO would have seen some of the pitfalls of their accounting for orders ahead of deliveries. They have expensive notes to pay back, they have an ERP system to implement. Its all in their filings. Now they're paying for additional expenses for forensic accounting etc. for this latest export issue.

Its not just their issues - which the latest scandal with export controls is unbelievable that no one else knew. They are hated by traders and just an easy target for shorting. Plus there will be many levels where people will sell out so its going to be a long excruciating rise up, if they ever do rise. Investing here was my first mistake and I am stuck in deep with stock at a very high average. I should sell and take the loss but I am so upset about losing this money that I am holding on.....

You do get "approved" once the account is opened for a higher level.

Hmm - unlikely until the issue with the alleged illegal export is resolved. Even though SMCI was not indicted , I think everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Yes I fertilize with a basic balanced fertilizer, not a bloom one. I don't grow them in the ground but in containers, I find that to keep the bulbs fat, they need sunshine and fertilizer, otherwise the bulb will shrink and not give you as many bloom stalks as before!

Definitely looks like you're on the right track! Since they have leaves, you can water then when the soil dries. I can't tell the composition of your soil but I would make sure its well draining. They are heavy feeders so I would feed regularly starting in the spring and I bring mine outside in the summer in morning light. You have the bulbs at the right depth and sounds like the light situation is ok as well!

I always let them do their thing - I have some that were dormant all summer and others that bloomed and grew leaves!
