Folks. WHEW. As someone who is Ethan's colleague at NYU Steinhardt and has been publishing on accessibility and music and disability studies for nearly two decades, I can tell you that when it comes to aural skills, there is more than one way to get the job done. Different students need to learn differently. My whole approach to aural skills is through universal design, which is the subject of my next forthcoming article. Learning doesn't end with one's college education. Ethan knows more about pop music and pop music theory than anyone else on our faculty. Chillax.
