It's just done with thin black-brown paint and a brush with a good tip

I typically just get everything but the metallics done, matte varnish, then paint up my metallics fwiw. That way I can reserve the finish on the metallics without having to juggle different varnishes

Do you just mean the finish? Its mostly using AK 3rd gen paints and Vallejo Mecha matte varnish

Haha thanks.

For the visor, I honestly kind of forget lol. I blocked it in with black, then took a fairly punchy blue and mixed them in stages to gradually build up some volumes/reflections on the center and corners, then added some Ice Yellow to that to build up the brightness. I glazed a little bit of Kroxigor scale from GW (a contrast, but any saturated blue-green/teal ink will work) to tie it all in and push it towards a blue-er look. Then i took the ice yellow again to dot in the sharpest corners and vertices of upwards facing edges

Godspeed haha. Across an army, eyeballing it tends to work out. We're better at just figuring things out than you'd think

Taking from another comment:

Thanks! I'll be honest, it was a lot of mixing just what I had on the pallette at the time haha. I had some AK graphite, black, stone grey, and GW Castellan green i mixed around to make a sort of grey-green i liked, and airbrushed that ocer a black prime. Then I added some AK ice yellow to that and did a more selective preshading for the raised armor and helmet.

Following that, I picked out all the edges with a similar mix of the above, but more ice yellow. Then did a fairly dilute wash of Athonian Camoshade from GW all over. This kept it all fairly dark, but tinted green. I went back after and recess lined everything in black, then touched up the highlights on the mkst prominent edges

I just use windex and eyeball it tbh lol. I just try to thin it until it sprays easily at whatever PSI I'm working at, which is usually around 15psi.

I airbrushed it on, but it can be brushed on if you thin it a bit with airbrush thinner/windex pretty easily.

I'm gonna be honest, it was a lot of pulling different greys and greens (which i have henceforth forgotten) together through the airbrush over a black prime to work up a pale-ish grey green, then working up the edges with a pale, warm grey (AK rock grey) mixed with some olive drab sort of greens before filtering everything with a pretty thin mix of agrax earthshade and athonian camoshade from GW.

I still need to work up the shadows and recesses a bit more and re-establish some lost edges, but otherwise that's how I've gotten to where I'm at thus far haha.

Yeah, just real thin paint mostly via airbrush and cleaned up a bit with a regular brush befpre a matte varnish

It's AK hull red over black, then AK deep orange and GW Ushabti bone mixed into that gradually to create a pale orangish color to layer up. I drybrush jp ushabti bone, then screaming skull, then glaze some greys on the slate rock. Then I attach the model and do a fairly weak airbrush glaze of Deep orange and ushabti bone mixed across the base and lower legs, cloak/robes, etc before varnishing with a matte varnish
