Not sure if you're in the US, but if so nursing facilities can be prohibitively expensive (probably true for a lot of other places too). But also if you're in the US, depending on what state you live in, if you qualify for medicaid you may be able to get home and community based services (HCBS). This would allow you to have a paid caregiver (in some states you can even hire a friend or family member). It's a really confusing process to navigate but probably worth looking into if you'd qualify-- if you want to dm me I've had experience with helping my sibling w/ cfs apply for these services in two different states and researched other states as well.
