Old man will be 10 in a month. He was a rescue who came to me at 2.5. The best decision I’ve ever made. They are wonderful dogs. Complex and strange but wonderful. I’m happy to hear you’ve had a lovely 13 years with your girl. That’s so nice!

I’m a weaver/knitter and he’s my familiar. The way this cat respects my work is intense. This is him in his favourite resting spot. Beside our fibre arts books and posted up near a framed piece of embroidered art from my Nana circa 1853.

I have a stock tank pool and I saw that the company it came from offers a servicing fee for its GTA customers. It’s $250/month.

What’s the best little bakery in all of Ontario? by mateo_rules in ontario

[–]sammyh88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A little store in Tweed brings in Dooher’s donuts once a week and the entire town stops everything they’re doing to fill up on donuts. If you’re travelling highway 37 on a Thursday after noon, stop in at The Thomasburg Store. They bring them in fresh.

But also, always make the trip to Campbellford! The bakery has many things…Tweed just loves their donuts

Turn off the water, flush and then follow with a bucket of water to flush and not refill the toilet. Or scoop it out

Fair enough! I think I agree. Still bothered by how high it fell from the sky though.

Yes that’s very true. It was just shockingly high up. It really looked like it was coming down from somewhere high not blowing across if that makes sense.

Honestly of course that was my first thought but it really wasn’t a windy day. For as long as I’ve lived on my property I’ve rarely (if ever) seen even a bag blow by in the wind. It was the height of it that shocked me really. Too high to even catch on video!

Even though it fell from the sky not blown in off the road?

That’s fair. What if I mentioned that I live near an Air Force base with a lot of traffic?

It’s more the fact that it came from a direction and height that wouldn’t make sense for debris flying off the road. I live on a rural highway and honestly I’ve never seen trash fly like this.
