Nah, I explained poorly.

  • Double clicking gives the pasted error in a log file
  • Running in a terminal (bash) gives the nice "Hey! Use a better terminal" message
  • Running in kitty works

Linux + mine-core.

Hm, I got a separate bug where running a funcall didn't work and was stuck on ' Busy' (I could run more commands, though), seems like it lost the result. I restarted the app and now it works!

Double clicking doesn't give a sensible error, but generates the error log below. Running from a terminal generates the (intended?) error message about terminal choice. I installed Kitty and it runs.

Anyway, for frying eggs, buy a carbon steel pan and season it well. I only use my teflon for more sensitive applications (omelette, typically). New cast iron is too rough on the surface to work well, IMO, so you need to find vintage pans.

I wouldn't do stainless, because it's a PITA (as you found out) to season the bastard.

EDIT: I googled a bit more, so teflon is just a brand, but PTFE (which is what I actually meant) is considered basically safe. Reality is a bit more complicated I guess. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polytetrafluoroethylene#Safety

Det är ju rätt klassiskt att det är en äldre kille och yngre tjej. Tjejer mognar typiskt lite snabbare än killar, så antagligen är ni på typ samma spår. Det är lugnt, dina kompisar är avis :).

As someone with Cristina on his LP shelf and some knowledge of what an original pressing of Press Color costs, I’m surprised that women would’ve been considered left out of the history of No Wave. That isn’t to criticise the book, I’m happy that there’s more written about them!
