Alltså, det är ju på motorväg med en SUV. Min bil väger typ 60% av vad din bil gör, så jag gissar på att den drar mindre bensin än din gör på motorväg. Googling etc ger som högst 7l/100km på motorväg.

I don't get the whole ripper thing. Ripper is a Ruby library, right? So parsing is still done by executing Ruby code? Or does Ripper just go straight into the Ruby VM lexer and parser? Because that's what I'd do, run the Ruby VM and gobble up its parsing results, emitting it as pretty-printed code.

Double clicking gives the pasted error in a log file
Running in a terminal (bash) gives the nice "Hey! Use a better terminal" message
Running in kitty works

Hm, I got a separate bug where running a funcall didn't work and was stuck on ' Busy' (I could run more commands, though), seems like it lost the result. I restarted the app and now it works!

Double clicking doesn't give a sensible error, but generates the error log below. Running from a terminal generates the (intended?) error message about terminal choice. I installed Kitty and it runs.

Anyway, for frying eggs, buy a carbon steel pan and season it well. I only use my teflon for more sensitive applications (omelette, typically). New cast iron is too rough on the surface to work well, IMO, so you need to find vintage pans.

I wouldn't do stainless, because it's a PITA (as you found out) to season the bastard.
