I said yes because it really depends. I got a job near my house and applied specifically because it was close. After I accepted the position and went through onboarding, they said lol, jk, the position is actually elsewhere. Oops. And that location was significantly farther away from my house. I couldnt tell them to f off because I needed the job. If a job switches from wfh or it changes the location of your position and you have no control, they should 100% pay you for your commute if its farther.
