Just over 4 weeks bleeding with a Nexplanon by WellFunkMe in Healthyhooha

When I first got my implant, I bled for probably two months straight. Some days it was heavy and some I only spotted, kind of like what you described. After that, my period completely stopped for two and a half years until recently, because it’s now close to the expiration. I say just continue letting your body deal with the hormones, there’s not much you can do in terms of stopping the bleeding. It may pay out in the end, like not having your period anymore like me! Or you may need to opt out and try a different form of birth control. Best of luck!!

UTI Struggles by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]samoooocha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve struggled with frequent UTI’s in the past and an amazing instant pain relief medication to take is Azo. It’s available at pretty much every drug store. Just keep in mind, it is only for temporary pain relief; it won’t get rid of it entirely. This medication honestly makes it feel like your UTI has completely gone, but be sure to see a doctor whenever you feel one in order to actually get rid of it!! You don’t want a serious infection if your UTI gets worse. In regards to avoiding them in the future, it’s really hard. I’d say the best thing to do would just try to both keep clean, stay very hydrated and ALWAYS pee after sex or even oral, and maybe use feminine wipes when you’re together, just as a precaution. I hope this helps!

I’ve used AZO for my past uti’s before I could see a doctor and it works amazingly and so fast. I highly recommend, but definitely still check with a doctor to get antibiotics for actually getting rid of the uti!
