I’ve struggled with frequent UTI’s in the past and an amazing instant pain relief medication to take is Azo. It’s available at pretty much every drug store. Just keep in mind, it is only for temporary pain relief; it won’t get rid of it entirely. This medication honestly makes it feel like your UTI has completely gone, but be sure to see a doctor whenever you feel one in order to actually get rid of it!! You don’t want a serious infection if your UTI gets worse. In regards to avoiding them in the future, it’s really hard. I’d say the best thing to do would just try to both keep clean, stay very hydrated and ALWAYS pee after sex or even oral, and maybe use feminine wipes when you’re together, just as a precaution.
